This project to build a new International Post Commercial Vehicle Center equipped with the latest physical distribution systems was carried out by relocating the existing International Post Office at Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu to Incheon International Airport, as the previous facility had become obsolete and small in size. The Center facilities include an office building, automated postal logistics workshop building, and land for a 2nd stage extension site. An atrium has been planned to function as a medium for connecting the office building and the workplace, which has been divided into a Land Side in the south and an Air Side in the north. The roof of the workshop building symbolizes the new International Postal Logistics Center using a swallow design over four sectional masses and the image of hands held together as if affection is shared among the residents.
