New Headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation relocated in Jinju innovation city expresses value and vision of LH Corporation through “Millennium Tree” which is symbolized richness and sharing as the main concept of new headquarters. “Millennium Tree” means new start of next millennium value as well as fine eco-architecture with consideration of comfort work environment of employees. 100% south faced layout, louver system considering altitude and specialized elevation per each side actualize very low energy and eco-building.
Sustainability, symbolism, and habitants’ convenience, are the three major design principles introduced on the design development. There are understanding axis of the site, embracing eco-friendly design combined with symbolic image of LH Corporation. These principles are applied on building orientation, overall sculpturing and expression of the building through design developments.
