The 400,000-pyeong scale housing park project for Hwaseong Dongtan New City Development. It is a comprehensive urban development plan for accommodating all city functions, including independent apartment houses, commercial and combined parks. Each park was developed with a differing theme, while environmentally-friendly green spaces systematically connect a radial city frame of the entire model complex to provide space for diverse cultural lifestyles. The housing parks were laid out to satisfy outward views and directions as much as possible while maintaining the radial framework by placing them in compliance with the morphologic features of the city development plan.
