This is a space for volunteers who come to Sorokdo to help care for patients suffering from Hansen disease. The surrounding architectural environment was borrowed for this 2-story building featuring a gable roof to harmonize with the museum building located in front of the site without damaging the beautiful natural environment and secluded atmosphere. Vertical beams of light enter through a duplex window installed the first
floor atrium, while a rear extension brings patients closer to nature via the atrium window.
