The new landmark of Gwangmyeong city, M-Ciety, a name coined by combining ‘M’ for Mixed Use, Music and Movement with ‘Society’, is a autonomous, multipurpose, town center equipped with diverse facilities residential, convenience, purchase, culture, leisure and education facilities under the UEC(Urban Entertainment Center) concept. The symbolic feature is maximized using hologram tubes from the KTX Gwangmyeong Station to render a strong impression by planning a beautiful skyline around a 59 stories tower and facade variation by day and nighttime lighting. A cubic pedestrian pavement system called “Moebius” is highlighted as a landscape element that represents the complex with a unique appearance while extending pedestrian hours to help boost the business of the stores.
